What is the NEFC Boston Girls Team Tryout process like?
New players looking to “try out” NEFC Boston Girls should register online. There is no cost to tryout with us, but you must register ahead of time so that our coaching staff can prepare accordingly for your arrival. Tryout sessions are scheduled regionally as we now offer team opportunities across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Once I register what happens?
Upon completion of the online registration, you will receive an email confirmation. A member of our staff will contact you prior to the first tryout date. That email will include all of the information that you need to be prepared.
What do I need to do on tryout day?
Players should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their starting time. Players should dress in soccer appropriate apparel and bring a water bottle and soccer ball.
Do I have to attend all tryout sessions?
It is highly recommended and expected that your player attend all tryout sessions . This is to maximize your player’s time in front of the coaches. If for some reason you cannot make both tryouts, please make sure you notify the appropriate coaches in advance.
When will I know if my player has made a team?
Within 48 hours of the final tryout date for each age group, each player / parent will be contacted by a member of the NEFC Boston Girls coaching staff.
How do I know what age my player should sign up for?
Teams are built by players birth year. Your child will be registered to a specific tryout time based on the date of birth of your player.
